Dr. Gabriel Loor

Dr. Gabriel Loor graduated from University of Miami and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Loor completed both a residency in general surgery and the American Heart Association Research Fellowship at University of Chicago. In addition, Dr. Loor completed a residency in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Loor is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Heart Association, Society for Critical Care Medicine, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, Lillehei Surgical Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Loor has a special interest in advanced heart and lung failure and he is currently the surgical director of the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Lung Transplantation Program in Houston, Texas
